Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Xavier began his healthcare journey early, volunteering with the Red Cross at age 16 and becoming an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) instructor by 18. Over nearly two decades, he worked as a paramedic, medical educator, and college instructor, developing a deep understanding of patient care, emergency medicine, and rehabilitation.
After earning his medical degree from Xochicalco Medical School in Mexico, Dr. Xavier continued advancing his clinical knowledge and leadership experience, including directing a paramedic training program and co-founding healthcare education initiatives. A personal back injury later changed the course of his professional life, leading him to discover the life-changing benefits of chiropractic care.
Determined to provide effective, non-drug solutions for pain, Dr. Xavier earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS). Today, he combines his extensive medical background with chiropractic principles to deliver a results-driven, patient-centered approach to care at Loma Linda Spine and Nerve Center.

Dr. Xavier is also an active Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) for the State of California and a Certified Medical Examiner (CME), bringing advanced experience in injury evaluation, documentation, and functional recovery.
